Whether you've been following Jesus for a long time or are a new Christian, we would be honored to baptize you!
Baptism isn’t required for salvation, but is the first step of faith for believers.
Baptism is an outward reflection of an inward decision to follow Jesus. Baptism illustrates Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection. (1 Corinthians 15:3-4) and shows your new life as a follower of Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:17) Baptism doesn’t save you; Jesus does!
We follow Jesus’ example in baptism. Jesus was baptized (Mark 1:9), and commanded us
to be baptized as well(Matthew 28:19-20).
We baptize by immersion at Vision. We see this throughout Scripture, and is the basis for the meaning of the word “baptize,” which means to immerse (or dip under) in water.
